The family-run Ledà farm has been producing wine since 2003. Located near Alghero in the hamlet of Arenosu, at the foot of Monte Doglia, its vineyards cover an area of around 6 hectares (15 acres) and include Merlot, Cabernet, Cannonau, Cagnulari and Vermentino varieties.
Cantina Ledà produces wines from grapes harvested by hand and vinified in the winery following the specifications of the Porto Conte Natural Park Environmental Quality Mark and the SQNPI sustainable agriculture certification.
In 2011, it opened its Wine Resort with 6 rooms, adding another 3 in 2019, and so it began welcoming guests and offering tours and tastings.
By prior reservation, Cantina Ledà offers its visitors Wine Tours among vineyards and olive groves, followed by guided tastings paired with gourmet products from small local producers. You can also book a sunset wine tour that includes an aperitif in front of the vineyards, a guided tour of the vineyard and olive grove at sunset and a tasting of the winery’s products paired with a wide selection of local cold cuts and cheeses. All the company’s wines can be purchased in the wine store.
Overnight accommodation is also available at the Wine Resort, with breakfast prepared with fresh local produce.
